Should FlingUp users be able to earn money for the content they create?

A friend of mine suggested this idea

YouTube users currently earn money for the content they create. Since the content here can be text or images, perhaps we should try to use a similar model, where users who create quality content can get a cut of ad revenue for the traffic that their content generated? I was wondering what you all think?
