COVID-19 will infect people either way

Quarantine and other government measures are only prolonging the drama?

The Corona virus (COVID-19) has allways been here (planet earth) and it is here to stay. Our immune system is smart enough to evolve and fight back. Should we take measures (such as quarantine of entire cities) to prevent infections and as such prevent our immune system from developing its own response? Are we being too smart and taking things into our own hands which should be handled by our immune system in the first place?
